This is a Bed and Breakfast. They got the “Bed” part right with large rooms, quiet location and ability to walk downtown. However, they got the “Breakfast” part terribly wrong. The food was awful, something you’d expect at a cheap motel. Breakfast consisted of a small portion of crumbled, baked, over-cooked scrambled eggs, microwaved mini-sausage links and a dry packaged biscuit. Nothing was fresh or hot. Considering this is an expensive B$B, I expected much more. We skipped the breakfast after the first day and ate at the local Diner instead. Note to facility - Get a cook!

This is a beautiful B&B Inn and the innkeeper GiGi and her son Noah are the nicest, kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met at any facility. Our room was on the top floor and my husband has health issues and cannot do steps, so GiGi gave us a room on the first floor of the Captain’s Quarters next door, which she also manages. Both properties are absolutely beautiful; I am definitely going back. The town of Edenton IS THE PRETTIEST TOWN IN THE SOUTH. And the best innkeepers in town are GiGi and Noah. On a scale of one to ten, they are eleven! They treat you as if you are family.

Great historic building. Excellently resorted quality work and living arrangements. Excellent breakfast served by friendly staff.

Our room was a bit hot. Couldn't control the heat and couldnt open windows. Breakfast was great.

This was a lovely inn but strangely once we checked in there was no staff available to answer our question about turning up the heat. Also the WiFi was very weak in Room #10 which was disappointing. Breakfast the next morning was excellent.Very nice town to walk around.

Good location - within walking distance of waterfront.
