We liked the hotel. It could have been cleaner, there were smears on the walls and bedding. We also had silverfish in the bathroom that we killed on our last two nights, didn’t notice them the first two nights, and only saw them when waking up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The bathroom didn’t have a fan, which I would say attributed to this problem. The room didn’t feel like 420sf, perhaps the layout of the room? Obviously we didn’t measure it; but we stay in a lot of hotel suites and this one wasn’t “roomy” as I would have expected.
Breakfast was good, with lots of choices and great coffee, and attendants were great at keeping things full.
We had a burned out lightbulb at the desk in our room that we asked to get replaced our second day. It wasn’t replaced while we were gone that day. Scott was great and brought us a new one promptly when we asked again. My husband lost his debit card in the lobby on day 2 of our 4 night stay and they left us a message, but we were still there. I was curious why no one brought it to our room as our reservations were for for two more nights. They did say they would mail it when I got the message after arriving home.
Hot tub and pool were down for part of our stay; but when it was open the temperatures were perfect in the hot tub and pool.
Area around the hotel felt safe and was clean compared to other places we have stayed in the Minneapolis area.
Overall, we would stay there again.
