阿魯姆民宿(Arum Guest House)

Beautifull clean room, well equipped(fridge, kettle, ironing board and iron)Belinda, the manager was lovely. Even helped to get 4 boy’s cricket whites white again. Lovely breakfast. High quality toiletries in the bathroom. Room was cleaned perfectly every day. Comfortable beds and crisp white linen.

Beautiful guest house located close to a good beach and within walking distance of an excellent restaurant and a good coffee shop. Other good dining venues within a 15 minute drive and easy access to main routes to explore other areas.

The room and the facilities were upmarket and neat. Everything was clean, the bed comfortable and we had a good rest. The premises are in a good condition and gives one the impression that a lot of care is taken to make it is good as possible.

We were staying at Arum House for only 1 night. We got the master suite for 4 people. The staff were very nice to us during our stay. On the morning of our departure, I went down to breakfast quite early, there was quite a lot of food on the counter for everyone. There was baked beans, sausages, bread, hash browns and so much more. After I had my 1st plate I discovered the pancakes. The pancakes were so good, honestly the best I’ve ever had, they were hot and super nice and fluffy. I will be coming back next time when I’m in East London

Had a great time. Though the picture from the website did not 100% match the physical place, it was nice and warm. I occupied the room called Joy. I was clean and shower met the expectations. Except for the piercing sharp sound in the morning which went until I left. This could be a noise from water piping, Its really annoying.

So, we were here twice. This is an excellent guesthouse and in my opinion the best we could ever find in East London. The staff is really friendly and so is the host. We book a specific roomthere and it is super clean. The guesthouse has a generator which may run from I think 9am to 6pm if load shedding hits - which is great as I sometimes need WIFI to do some work in the afternoon. Pros: - great staff and host - super clean - quite and no parties allowed, good sleep - walk distance to one amazing cafe for breakfast and a bar and a restaurant - super secure, parking inside - rooms (at least our first choice) are equipped with fridge and microwave - shower is really hot even at night - generator and WIFI super fast - just an absolutely lovely place - NOT in the city center (thanks lord). We take an R50 Bolt to go to Gracia restaurant and can avoid the noise of the inner city - Close to Nahoon beach for a walk Cons: - none

The Amount of parking space available is not very convenient to get in an out one u in an a car comes after you its not very easy to get out with out disturbing other guests staying at the accommodation, other then parking space the stay was top..

The stay at the guest house was very good & service was also very good . Parking was a bit small but it’s understandable. The TV in my room was not working correctly . Overall it was a great experience.

I booked two rooms at Arum Guest House the night before our wedding. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and had every amenity needed and more. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and catered for every taste. I would gladly recommend Arum Guest House for your next trip, excellent place and value for money.
