Good very good from service to the bedrooms and breakfast was good but didn't have chicken and the Indian manager ugh the best. The room service was quick with their work and very clean and trustworthy

What an excellent service we received at Tropicana. It was not the first time, and notbthe lastbtime obviously. I would recommend anyone to visit at Tropicana, whether individually or in groups, i can assure you best services.

The service was great. The room was lovey. The view spectacular. However, the bathroom setup left us very disappointed with a broker toilet seat and shower curtain that stuck to us while we showered - yuk. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, because a bathroom is an important part of accommodation, I will think twice before booking there again...

We booked for 44 people and everyone enjoyed their stay. Amazing staff from reservations to receptionist. The rooms are big enough, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a tight budget yet looking for comfort and a home away from home.

Spacious rooms with a lovely view of the Ocean. It is also very conveniently located...most places are walking distance from the hotel. And I liked the fact that the souvenir market was right outside as we got ourselves some really good souvenirs to take back home.

This hotel is located just across the street from the beach, which was great. My room was not sea facing, but I still had a bit of a sea view from the side. The street does get busy with a lot of car traffic & people so you have to be aware of your surroundings & your belongings, esp. when walking around. Because the area is busy, it does get quite a bit noisy, even at late night & early morning hours. The front desk is very helpful & accommodating. When I had an early morning tour the next day, they provided me a nice breakfast box before 5:30am since it was too early for the breakfast buffet that was included in my room rate. As for the breakfast buffet, it was excellent. There’s also an onsite restaurant & café, plus room service so that was very convenient, esp. when I came back late from my tour. My room was spacious, nice, & the bed was comfy…all that I really needed for a couple of nights in Durban. Overall, the hotel is in a good location, the room was quite comfortable, and the staff is nice & friendly.

The service from all the staff was great especially from the Chef Earl who went out of his way to cater to our Halal eating requirements. The facilities are good, perhaps the bathroom is a bit dated and needs renovating.

The room advertised in the booking site is not the same as the actual room at the hotel. Towels, bedding and pillows of very poor quality. Very old and the bathroom looks like it was put together in a day....
