Our stay at Wild Grass Nature Resort in Sigiriya was simply outstanding. This luxurious hotel is one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed. Our villa, with its stunning view overlooking the lake, was a thing of beauty, and it provided the ultimate relaxation. The food was truly exceptional, and the staff's service was impeccable. Manager Nimal went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, making us feel like royalty. We loved every aspect of this property and can't wait to return. There's absolutely nothing to complain about in this beautiful paradise.

Our two-night stay at the Wild Grass Nature Resort in Sigiriya was truly exceptional. This retreat is a paradise for nature lovers and enthusiasts. It is a place to find solace and calm, and to move a step closer to mother nature. Our 10-day Sri Lanka tour included a two-night stay at Wild Grass. We were 5 of us from Bangalore, India- My husband and I, my nine-year-old son and my in-laws. Nestled amidst a forest, our villa, with its expansive glass doors and walls, immersed us in the natural surroundings. The spacious rooms were not only comfortable but also meticulously designed. It's the attention to these minor details that made our experience exceptionally comfortable, like finding a pair of scissors right in the room when needed. Our group was diverse in age and dietary preferences, ranging from an energetic child to a senior citizen with mobility limitations, and from pure vegetarians to enthusiastic non-vegetarians. Wild Grass catered to all of our needs, ensuring everyone felt at ease. The breathtaking view from our room, accompanied by the symphony of nature's sounds during the night and morning, was simply magical. This resort offers the perfect setting to disconnect from our busy lives and unwind. The beautiful lake on the property can provide endless hours of serenity and contemplation. I regret not being able to find the time to just sit by the lake and contemplate. A significant part of our incredible experience was thanks to Nimal, the manager at Wild Grass, and his dedicated team, who worked tirelessly to ensure our comfort. The food was delightful, and the personal touch to the entire experience made it unforgettable. During our stay, we also had the opportunity to explore the Sigiriya Fort and the ruins of Polonnaruwa, further enhancing our Sri Lanka adventure. In retrospect, we wished we had extended our stay at the resort, as one could easily make an entire vacation out of Wild Grass alone. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Sri Lanka, with Wild Grass Nature Resort on our list to unwind once more in the future. A heartfelt thank you to Nimal and the entire Wild Grass team for providing us with this remarkable experience.

When we arrived we were sat down in reception and then 3 members of staff just stood over us not saying a thing or showing us around which was all very awkward. Accommodation was quite nice apart from baby frogs in the toilet and sink. This hotel is supposed to be on a large nature reserve, and apart from the odd bird and frog we did not see one animal.

Le lodge est niche en pleine forêt a proximité de Sigiriya. Sur place, on découvre un havre de paix , une chambre plus que spacieuse et entièrement vitrée où vous apercevez la faune locale. La salle de bains extérieure est un pur bonheur. Le restaurant est d’une très belle qualité et tout le personnel est prévenant. Bravo Niwal pour avoir comblé nos souhaits pendant ce séjour! Nous recommandons sans réserve !

Beautiful lodge in the middle of nature. Original modern architecture with huge glass windows and large bedrooms from which you are surrounded by the forest. Impressive and extraordinary outdoor shower. The lodge is beautifully designed with charming alleys to the rooms which actually are independent houses. Beyond the beauty and comfort, the kindness and attention of the team were key elements that made us enjoy the place, including for breakfast and diner, when we were there during the troubled times of summer 2022. Thank you very much.

My family and I stayed here just 3 nights of our 3 week holiday to beautiful Sri Lanka. Wild grass nature resort was spectacular, everything from the rooms to the staff to the food. We felt so incredibly welcome here. The staff would walk with us to and from dinner, they were always very friendly and warm and nothing was ever too much to ask. When we arrived we got the choice between 2 utterly breathtaking houses both with amazing interiors and exteriors. One night, one of our family members wasn’t feeling well and Nimal and his wonderful team catered for us from the comfort of our own room. We thought it wouldn’t be too elaborate however, Nimal and the waitering staff brought over the entirety of the set menu which has around 5 courses then proceeded to set the exterior table up, like they normally would do over at the restaurant. They catered for us superbly as alway, we were beyond impressed by this! We also got the opportunity for a guided walk up a near by hill to watch the sunset, which made for a truly magical and special evening. The attention to detail that the staff at Wild grass have acquired is top notch and it made for the best stay I’ve probably ever experienced in a hotel. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience and stay, we wish you all the very best of luck for the future.

This hotel alone is a reason to visit Sri Lanka. I have never stayed somewhere like this! It has beautiful rooms and amenities, incredibly friendly and helpful staff who were very receptive to every query or concern. The food was phenomenal, the best food I have had in the country and beautifully presented, especially considering the location of the hotel. We received luxury trea**ent: a private tour of the local countryside with the manager Nimal, a private dinner in Sri Lankan hut and escorting to and from rooms. I saw absolutely no evidence of the any the previous negative comments surrounding this hotel and the only shame is that there aren’t more people visiting here to enjoy this haven! Nimal is an amazing host and the staff were so caring. Overall amazing stay! 10000/10

My family and I visited Wild Grass for 2-nights as part of our Sri Lanka holiday. I was blown away by the stunning accommodation - floor to ceiling windows and outdoor rain showers which really immerses you in nature and the Sri Lankan culture. They have a new Chena hut which will also enhance your experience here. Nimal and his team of employees (all recruited from the local communities) couldn't do enough for us to make our stay memorable. Thank you Nimal and team! With this property expect to be at one with nature and you will thoroughly enjoy it!

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hotel avec nos 3 enfants. * Accueil soigné * Nous avons été "bichonnés" par tout le personnel de l'hôtel et avons eu un diner-buffet très raffiné et varié au bord de la piscine à l'occasion de l'anniversaire de mon mari! * Notre "chambre" était loin du lobby et répartie sur 2 étages : dommage que la salle de bain et la chambre ne soient pas au même étage … * La chambre de nos enfants était parfaite : de plein pied, vue imprenable, … une salle de bal! mais aussi un peu loin du lobby. * Très agréable piscine un peu loin des chambres. * Délicieux petit-déjeuner personnalisés * Excellente situation : près de Sigiriya - Pidurangala - Dambulla * Excellente séance de yoga donnée par un maitre Yogi venu spécialement pour nous. Homme rayonnant et inspirant. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet initiation au lever du soleil. * Tout est fait pour accueillir confortablement les voyageurs même en cette période de profonde crise politique et économique. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité et à aucun moment nous ne nous sommes sentis en danger. Nous avons pu découvrir ce magnifique pays et avons bénéficié d'un accueil très chaleureux de la part des Sri Lankais. Nous leur souhaitons tout le renouveau dont le pays à besoin après tant de difficultés.
