Double booked no refund

We were tricked by the Web photographs presented as representing this establishment. The truth of the matter is that the motel looks as if it has been made of a collection of building materials salvaged from demolition sites. The only good thing about the room was the bed which was comfortable. The bathroom was a disaster [see photos attached] and the room itself not much better. The only reason you would stay here is if you couldn't find anywhere else to overnight !

The Billabong Hotel Motel in Cunnamulla is exactly what you need for accommodation on a budget. The service is five star and the food at the restaurant is hearty, tasty pub fare at a reasonable price. Also, when we visited for the Cunnamulla Fella Roundup 2023 the temperature was 1 degree Celsius and the AC/Heater did the job. Highly recommend staying here.

The rooms are old but clean and comfortable. It's a pub motel and what you'd expect for the price. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave in the room. Bistro in the pub was great too.

We arrived late afternoon after making a booking the previous day. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable, we had a good nights sleep. Bathroom was acceptable and had an excellent shower. A nice budget motel. Not close to town centre, but the drive enabled us to see more of Cunnamulla.

I stayed there last night with my wife and two children (6 y.o.,4 y.o.). A little dated motel astehtically but very clean with excellent, helpful & friendly staff. Everything you want from a little country motel. Great little bistro/bar attached also with decent priced food and drink. Definite recommend. Couldn't complain at all. You will be happy with a stay and dinner. Would be happy to stay longer. Would be excellent if travelling for work also.
