克里斯蒂安娜山林小屋(Cristiana Guesthaus)

We stayed at the lodge for a few days after Christmas, 2023. The lodge was very cozy and it felt like home. Cisco and Hannah made our stay very pleasant and they are always available if you need anything, day or night. I highly recommend the Cristiana Guesthaus if you need a nice place to stay with great hosts and a location that is centrally located to everything around Crested Butte, Colorado.

It has been one of my best stays! The location, the decor, the amenities, hospitality, everything was simply amazing. I expected it to be good because of the reviews, but it exceeded my expectations! The small cozy place suited Crested Butte perfectly.

Lovely Stay, Very friendly and helpful staff. The common areas are comfy and cozy. The wifi was adequate and the room had enough outlets. The rooms are small, and not so soundproof but that’s the only negative. Continental breakfast offered a variety of items. Fresh OJ, muffins, yogurt, fruit , hard boiled eggs etc. Coffee and tea available all day, the afternoon cookies were delicious!

I’ll start with the common areas, very nice and well kept. That’s when things ended for us. The trip upstairs to room 10 ended in utter disappointment. If I had been able to find other accommodations on such short notice I would have refused the room. To start with one of two keys failed to open the door. The door needed a health shove to open since it sticks at the top. Once inside the room the worn carpet was a dead give away of the over all poor condition of the room. The carpet is past well worn with ripples which create a nice tripping hazard when visiting the bathroom in the dark. The unframed window with open sheet rock and spray in foam filler were aesthetically unappealing at best. The lack of a bathroom vent fan and the graphing hole in the ceiling where it once was located was no surprise by this time. The bath towel are so worn you can practically see through them. I don’t have word to describe how badly the mattress needs replaced.

This was it. No tv, no chair, no queen bed, it was fullsize. I ended up getting high altitude sickness and had to leave the next morning to get to lower altitude. They ended up charging us the other 2 nights because they couldn't get them filled. Not our fault, and for that I will tell everyone that will listen. DONT EVER STAY THERE!! No comfort, no Tv( shocked). And then to leave early because of being sick? How dare they?? That was pretty much a kick in the gut. Go to a much nicer place that has tv. And a real QUEEN SIZE BED. Will never go there again.

I toured Colorado making 5 stops and this choice of lodging in Crested Butte was the least expensive and might have been the most enjoyable experience. There is plenty of seating indoors (on 2 levels) and out offering opportunities to chat with fellow travelers and swap stories and ideas about activities and restaurants in town. The breakfast was way more elaborate than I expected too. And of course the location is tough to beat. You can leave the car keys behind and walk to dinner and enjoy a bottle of wine.

Good location. Great afternoon cookies. Pleasant veranda on second floor. Hotel is a little dated and could use some maintenance. But very comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out (they accommodated our late check-out request). Enjoyed our stay.

Great location but I was very disappointed in how run down the property is. It definitely needs a little TLC and a make over. Rooms were ok and the beds were comfortable. But our room still had carpet in it and there was no ventilation, just a stand up fan. They did provide a nice continental breakfast.

Once again, the Cristina Guesthouse does not disappoint! Our second visit here and will not be our last! Colleen, Dimas, Hannah and the entire staff make sure you have everything you need for a terrific stay. As others have said, this is a laid back and smallish guesthouse which is great fun during breakfast and après ski time to catch up with other visitors. Bed's are comfy, toiletries provided and the afternoon cookies are always home made. A 2 minute walk to the ski shuttle and close to downtown for restaurants and fun bars...this is an excellent location in CB for all your ski needs. Enjoy!
