From check in to check out, we absolutely LOVED our stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable and incredibly clean. The lady at the front desk, we believe her name was Aideen was incredibly friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were family. An absolute 10 out of 10 and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Metropole Hotel was an excellent place to stay for our short 2 day visit to Cork providing close walking distance to central Cork. The room was a bit on the smaller side but was comfortable, clean and suited our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breaksfast was excellent with the variety and quality of food. The paid off-site parking is close but can be a bit of a daunting experience in busy periods with the tight and narrow turns and parking spots. The hotel itself was excellent for our needs.

Although the hotel is now a little dated in some respects, the attentive, pleasant nature of the staff more than makes up for it. So much so, that this was a return visit for us and we didn't even consider any other hotels.

Very well located hotel, lot of dinning option nearby. Short walk to everything. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my staff. While room is small, clean and very charming.

The hotel and its staff were very nice. The area around it had lots of construction going on and wasn't super clean. Would still recommend the hotel though.

L’hôtel est trop vieux, les chambres sont trop petites, il y a des bruits des conduites/tuyaux, depuis ma chambre j’entendais la télé de la chambre voisine. La façade extérieure et certains endroits sont beaux par leur d’ancienneté… mais l’intérieur des chambres est aussi resté dans les années 40. Celui qu’est en voyage d’affaires qui arrive tard le four et qui reste 2-3 jours, je le conseil de bien se renseigner avant de réserver. Le personnel est super et à tout fait pour me garder à l’hôtel (j’ai connu 3 chambres en 2 jours)… en gros, si vous êtes sensibles aux bruits, évitez cet établissement. Si le bruit ne vous dérange pas je reste persuadé que vous passerez un bon séjour
