科克市南部購物中心馬爾登酒店(Maldron Hotel South Mall Cork City)

The room was lovely and had the basics of what we needed. The only downfalls were the window being in the corner and the heating system not working as the room was still cold but everything else was perfect for a night. Right in the city centre so you don’t need buses or taxis for exploring the city.

We had a very enjoyable experience in the maldron hotel

I stayed 3 nights. It was a very busy hotel that host private parties. I happen to have been there during a kids birthday party and several confirmations celebrations. The kids were running amuck everywhere, Parents were drinking and not being responsible for their children. I tripped several time because they were running underfoot. I woke twice two different nights to a fire alarm going off that was not part of their testing times. Thankfully they were false alarms! I woke one night after falling back to sleep after the alarm went off (2am? ) to a large group of drunk people singing at the top of their voices out side my window for about an hour before I heard someone threatened to call the police. I was then woke for a third and final time at 6 am by the garbage collection. So not a restful time spent. I will say the staff works very hard and maintained a professional attitude even in chaos. My room was clean well appointed . I wold stay again and ask to stay in a different section of the hotel.

Had a fantastic time staying in the Maldron South Mall. It was very clean and quiet. The executive room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location.

We booked a room for two people with a queen bed and got a room cramped with one double and one trwin- sized bed that was below ground level. our window opened up to an air shaft. Next day, the water was cutfrom 11am to 2pm. At least we got transferred to a room that was above ground.

We initially arrived at the wrong Maldron hotel (there are two in Cork). For people with cars, note the nearest parking is a 5-8 minute walk away.

Property was very nice with comfortable rooms. Bar & restaurant areas were well presented with friendly staff. Only issue was the lack of towels. I had a double room with my partner but only one towel. Was given another one on asking but when room was refreshed only one towel again. All for doing my bit for the environment but drying on a damp towel doesn’t seem to be the place “to do my bit”. Still recommended
