梅加羅斯酒店(Hotel Megalos)

Good accomandation quite close to all the city center and the beach and also Mamaia. Nice and friendly staff and good breakfast. Good value for the money and the room was nice.

Female staff seemed just wanting to help and more interested with their phones, lacking basic customer services skills. Hotel is dated but clean, basic twin bed room is basic, asked to be provided with a kettle and was informed no. Location is ok as short walk to beach and short bus ride to town centre.Price point seemed enough for what the hotel offers as a basic / economy twin room.

Staff was great, however my bed bedbugs.

First impression was I am entering an abandoned building. Noting wellcoming, some customer towels used as wind stop at the door entry, then, reception at the 1st floor. Room very old fashionate, old furnitures, the only good things was the cleaned bed. The major bad experience was with the elevator making horrible noises (I was afraid of falling) that I don t think was serviced soon. Then, at the brackfast in the basement I was informed that the coffee (if I want) should be taken from the Reception (two floors above) ehich was by far the saddest joke. Poor breakfast, eggs only in boiled form. It was an experience I will never repeat this hotel needs a full refurbishments. The only giod things was the smilling clerk on the breakfast
