卡拉沃爾莊園水療酒店(Crabwall Manor Spa, BW Signature Collection)

We have had a lovely stay, and it would only take a few tweaks to make this hotel better. Good: *It's in the perfect location, we took an uber into the centre of Chester for less than £5. *Breakfast was relaxed with a great selection as a buffet service. *Spacious room with all the amenities you need. *Plenty of free parking. *Beautiful grounds and really quiet at night. *Great value for money Needs Improving: *Cleaning standard is average, black mold around the taps in the bathroom that could be easily resolved. *Bathroom floor was desperate for a good mop *Bed wasn't the comfiest as 2 twins fastened together leaving a gap in the middle. *Staffing levels affecting customer service levels, we decided to order room service, took an age to answer the phone and then said could be collected from reception, kind of goes against the point of room service, so we left it, not great for the hotels add on sales if that happens everytime. *No enough bar staff, we ordered food but it was cold and one meal was not what we ordered but too hungry to wait for it to be replaced, apparently fish finger sandwich is identical to fish and chips anyway according to the waitress! Like I said it won't take much for this hotel to raise it's customer service standards to an excellent level, more staff will fix most of the issues, despite everything mentioned we would probably stay again.

lovely hotel - great location but its more set up for larger groups rather than sole travelers in my opinion. Very near to motorway for easy access. Had to eat at the bar from a limited menu but the food was really good The only reason i've mentioned cleanliness on the selector, was my room was not hoovered well - had broken glass, chocolate and some tissue paper on the floor ( 53) however the room was great and apart from that, very clean Lovely staff throughout - even the younger staff members in the bar were really good - thanks again guys. will definitely stay again

Super happy with my stay at Crabwall Manor. I couldn’t fault it! From a great quick friendly check in to a wonderful comfortable room (the bed was amazing!) and a delicious breakfast. The staff were all so friendly. I didn’t get chance to use the spa unfortunately but it looked great. I would definitely recommend here!

Our reception and check in was excellent and throughout our stay all members of staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Sadly the room was cold and it took some time having requested assistance before it was rectified Insufficient in room coffee, milk etc was provided and we repeatedly had to ask for replenishment. No glasses were provided even though bottled water was?? Following our first night we followed the instruction regarding towels and eco friendliness leaving only one towel in the bath for replacement. This never happened! Coffee remnants from our cups had been poured into the bathroom sink and left leaving it brown stained on our return to our room. A request for a floor towel in bathroom was refused on H&S grounds yet the potential for slipping remains just as much and a more likely H&S issue. Breakfast was very poor quality food ie: rubber style fried eggs and regular waiting for replenshments to be made across the board - bread, bacon, eggs, etc In the Spa instructions posted to shower after using the steam room and sauna yet the shower provided to do so was not working??

It was nice and peaceful.the staff very friendly the spa was lovely and clean a nice jaccuzzi and the swimming pool was warm. we had a very nice evening meal then sat in front of a log fire would definately stay over for longer next time, the bed was comfortable and good pillows would definately recommend it to family and friends .

Overall it was an excellent hotel. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional but could do with a few more choices of food. Room was very tidy

The positives first, lovely staff and spa. A comfy bed with good quality bedding, spotlessly clean. The negatives: first room was freezing cold. Moved to another where there was no heating in bathroom, room was ok but no windows, a couple of small roof lights, wouldn't class the place as 4 star. Prices for food do not match website prices, for £17 for a fish finger sandwich, you woulf expect some nice chunky fish in there, not slithers. Probably nicer to stay here in the summer when there is less need for hot water or heating.
