We booked a king suite and we received a double bed handicap accessible room upon check-in. We had a "guaranteed booking" for our stay. The front desk attendant did not even tell us at check-in anything changed; we had to go to the room to find out it was different. Then we returned to question it, Towneplace claimed it was ********** fault for not contacting us before we arrived. The hotel claimed they had queen rooms, but that this one was better. She never offer to change our room just said, "sorry".
The ice maker and freezer area was a mess. The drawers in the frig were broken. And the room was not vacuumed.
This location "does not provide house keeping for overnight stays" according to the front desk attendant.
As a previous employee of Marriott, this is definitely not up to standard.
