The old style hotel was a pleasure to visit. The old wooden room door lead to a very comfortable room with modern amenities, especially in the bathroom.

Close to downtown historic areas and harbor. Bus at the door. Smooth elevator. Only a few floors (intimate). Great for seniors and empty nesters. Attentive staff. Dining within hotel. Indoor pool. Would like to see an airport shuttle added for convenience. Fire concern with potentially old wiring (?) and no sprinkler system. Overall very good.

Lovely building reminiscent of its historic past. Quarters are a little tight which is to be expected of a building of its era. Close to all amenities and a lovely walk to the waterfront. The in house restaurant had great food, great service and a competitive prices... dining times were a little restrictive so plan accordingly. Would definitely stay again!

Close to city center and within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and theaters. It's an older hotel so it has some minor wear and tear and maybe a little dated in certain areas, but it still has a certain charm that helps to overlook the small stuff. We would definately stay there again.

The room was a good size and comfortable. And the staff all great! Friendly and helpful. The property itself is a bit dated- it’s a lovely historic site but the carpeting and upholstery is worn and stained in rooms and hallways, marks on walls etc. Could use some freshening up. My room wasn’t very clean when I arrived- there were game prières on the floor and snacks in the chair that had obviously come from previous guest. Susquequent room cleanings were fine. A lot of noise/dust from outside construction but the staff managed to move me to a room On the other side of the building. Overall, nice enough hotel- location is great and would stay there again. Just not wowed

I was expecting better air conditioning, but it’s a very old building. It’s not bd considering how old the building is. The facilities were pretty good, especially since the cost at other hotels was very high.

I liked the convenience of the hotel's location in downtown Charlottetown but we were very dissapointed at the lack of control over the many young children who were running freely up and down our hallway until 10:30 PM yelling and banging on guest room doors with hockey sticks. As well, I would be remiss if I didn't point out the potential danger posed by the cabinet immediately above the only bathroom sink in our room. Its poor design prevents one from being able to wash and shave safely.

It was close to my work and provide all the comforts and necessities I required. The bathroom had been renovated and was nice, hot water on shower took a bit of time but overall it was a satisfactory stay and I would book there again. The break was quite interesting and position, oatmeal porridge with a lot, a lot of fresh fruit and a server that was very pleasant and attentive with coffee and needs. Noteworthy.

The beds at this property are very old and sagging, we could not get any sleep as there was a group of people constantly partying till 3am, bathroom is very small and the toilet was not attached to the floor properly so it would bounce on the floor.
