The Charleston Place sets the bar for customer service!

We originally did not choose this hotel secondary to the price. We booked another hotel just down the road. After being at the other hotel from in 30 minutes we looked up another place to stay and found this gem. We walked into the lobby at 12:30 AM and got a room. For the couple hundred dollars more a night it was night and day difference in quality, hospitality, finishings, cleanliness, and overall experience. Coming with many perks, such as Nespresso in the room, bottled water available, and both ice and filtered water for water bottles. It could not be any more centrally located in this. We had many bike adventures, and the included bikes, equipped with baskets and locks. This was by far the best way to see Charleston on your own. The staff was eager to please. I was very happy with this stay. I rarely treat myself to fine accommodation and I will stay here again.

Charleston Place goes above & beyond to ascertain that you have a stellar stay from the moment of check in until check out! From Valet parking, to Club lounge drinks & hour douves, to shopping to the most comfortable beds to soaking in the hot tub to showering in your rain shower and beautiful accommodations, the entire stay is spectacular and the hotel is conveniently located too!!

You cannot beat the location of The Charleston Place, and for that reason alone we would definitely stay there again. However, we would've appreciated a coffee maker in the room. There is a coffee shop downstairs and always room service as additional options, we chose coffee shop. Housekeeping also shows up early (9am), so if you're planning to sleep in, remember to put the DND sign on your door. We asked them to come back the morning that this happened to us but they never did come back to clean the room even though we were gone later in the day. The pool and gym are really nice, they were never crowded. You can lay outside in the sun, but the pool is technically indoors. Our bed was not super comfortable, I preferred our bed at home (which I feel is kind of rare), and the pillows were incredibly soft. I couldn't wait to sleep in my own bed with my own pillows again.

Beautiful hotel in historic area easily walkable to many places. Hotel transportation costs, if needed are extremely high, best to Uber or arrange own transportation from airport, etc. Spa/pool area is lovely. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Staff is friendly & helpful, very accommodating for any requests. I had problem with very loud heating/AC system first night & staff worked to repair. Enjoyed my 5 night visit & would stay again.

This hotel is located in the middle of downtown and close enough to eveything to walk around. It is in the historic part of Charleston and the hotel is very nice and comfortable. The concierge and receptionists were very helpful and polite. It was a very rewarding experience that makes me want to go back and visit again.

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had staying at a hotel. We were catered to from beginning to end and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. The hotel itself is gorgeous and centrally located. The room was exceptionally comfortable and quiet. We will definitely be back!

I have stayed her frequently and never been disappointed. The decor is gorgeous and the lobby is amazing. The beds are so comfy and the rooms are well appointed.
