The initial room they gave us had a window with an opaque white covering which TOTALLY prevented you being able to see out of the room. When we complained they gave us another room. We got to the 2nd room and they knocked on the door before we unpacked and said they needed to move us to a 3rd room because they were decorating on that floor. The 3rd room was fine.

The location is absolutely amazing! You simply can't beat it if you're looking to dine and shop. I would highly recommend Market Pavillion to anyone who is planning to visit Charleston and have a truly authentic trip. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The rooftop bar is a must and Grill 225 is an amazing restaurant!

Hotel setting was lovely. Great location. It took an hour and half to get room serviice. The room number transposed? Number was 222. They did comp the meal which was tasty. Front reception staff not particularly friendly or helpful. Other stass lovely. Valet and waitor helpful.

Overall, the hotel is very nice. A few issues that I had with the hotel were a pretty high price for a room that looked out on a car literally parked in front of the window. In addition, I thought that the outdoor valet service was slow and not that attentive. Finally, to me the beds are hard as a rock and I had difficulty sleeping on them.

Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Staff were friendly and eager to help. Concierge was so knowledgable and well connected. Morning coffee and afternoon cookies on each floor was an extra perk. Very well located in the center of Charleston. The only downside were outdated TV's and infomercials that kept coming on.
