What WAS super unique about the property was that ******* gave us the reservation at all!!! Since the front
desk help let us know that we would not be staying as they were all full and the opening for us to nab a room to sleep
after driving cross country wasn't even available. We were
able to grab a room across town though. The new room at a local Hampton DID have the blood from a recent suicide spread across the box spring BUT the front desk was super quick to get us a new room just down the hall. Which was nice. So... We had quite the night. I wonder though? Do others think that it's super cheap and super disrespectful to let that much DNA of a hotel guest get shared by current customers? I think that discarding and burning that box spring would be WAY classier. From this I realised that this is a thing and 30 years ago at a La Quinta in Columbus, GA this happened to us too. It's sick and no hotel chain should handle this like this. SO... *******, when I make a reservation with you, please honor it.
