1897 鐵門 B&B 酒店(The Iron Gate Inn)

The Iron Gate Inn is a beautiful historic home in a great location for the Shakespeare festival. We stayed in a lovely outbuilding that was well kept and had everything we needed. Donna (the owner) made a delicious gourmet breakfast, so it truly was a Bed AND Breakfast!

Lovely historic home with beautiful gardens and private, outdoor sitting areas. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of main street. Donna was the quintessential hostess, making us feel like we had a home away from home we can look forward to coming back to.

The large house is very well kept up and located to the Adams theater. The yard was well kept with places where we could sit in the shade. We had a beautiful room, which was attractively decorated and clean. The king-size bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a cheerful room that looked out into the yard. Donna is a wonderful host and we enjoyed visiting with us. We would happily stay there again. We came to see the plays and the house is an easy two-block walk away.

Cute place and if our rooms hadn’t been completely screwed up it probably would have been ok. We reserved 2 rooms - 2 friends in one room, 1 friend in the other. Donna was looking on the computer . . Looking at her notes. . . The trying to walk into rooms that were already rented (the door was locked) . . . We had a receipt for the 2 rooms but she was telling us we messed up - she was going to have us move every night and all 3 sleep in one room at least one night. We were looking forward to the homemade breakfast rolls and homemade jam from the apple trees and peach trees in the yard - we got rock hard Pillsbury Dough cinnamon rolls. But again - cute house in a good location if you want to attend the Shakespeare festival. We left and got 2 rooms at a local hotel.

Donna works really hard to keep her guests happy. Beautiful old-fashioned home. Delicious breakfast every morning. She works hard to make things work out even if they’re difficult. Very “homey” feel. Perfect location in town close to the Theatre and downtown Cedar City. Some friendly cats and dogs are occasionally seen. They are fun to pet, only a downside if you have allergies.
