詹的酒店(Jan's Hotel)

The hotel was just ok. Nothing extra. Certainly wasn’t what I was used to but from my understanding one of the better options on the island. Very meager accommodations though. Stayed for 1 day. & that was enough. Beds weren’t the most comfy room was very minimalist but the location is good. The highlight was being able to walk directly out to the water to write.

Was a great place to come & stay at. At the last minute we wanted to spend another two days, they made it work for us! Was a pretty busy place. Wish there was more if beach but it still was a great place to relax. Would recommend it! They have security that are there all night long, so you feel really safe. Gabriel gave a run down of where thing was, everything is pretty much in walking distance, lots of restaurants & live music! Would go & stay again!

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful tiny island, the little beach area right out the front of the property and everything you need within a two minute walk. Caye Caulker is a great place to unwind and unplug for a couple of days, and Jan’s is a perfect place to do it.

Jan’s Hotel arranged for pickup and drop off at the ferry dock, which made getting there nice and easy. Check-in was a breeze, and the room was nice and clean too! We enjoyed our stay despite some noisy guests hanging out in the common area just outside our room. Location was convenient to everything, and we would stay there again!

The staff was amazing and VERY friendly, they offer many convenient ameneties. They are very accomodating. I highly recommend them, we wished they had a pool but the hotel made up for them not having it.

We love Jan's and have stayed here twice already. Great location with short walks to restaurants, snorkel companies, convenience stores, the tarpon feeding, stingray viewing and the split. They have modest, comfortable rooms with charming original artwork. They offer bottled water for their guests as well as soap and shampoo.The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also just completed a beautiful new dock which is a great place to watch the sunrise. We look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel to have the time to explore the island, and also have to work remotely a few days. Location is great, nice sea views from the front rooms (we were in suite 1). The room was sizeable (we paid for a suite), so good for working. The main issue is that the hotel needs an update, esp. Given the price (250 us dollars per night). The bathroom was mouldy and the shower curtains smelly and old. The little kitchen was super basic and we didn't use it other than to make coffee. The service was average to poor. You had to ask for everything, no effort was made. The exception was Fred, the porter, who was extremely nice and helpful. Overall not good value for money, but also this might be the case for most places in the island. Everything extremely overpriced.

We've stayed at Jan's a number of times in the last few years. Always clean and comfortable with helpful staff.

Suite 2 is great and the view from the balcony overlooking the active tourists towards the sunset is quite lovely
