We stayed for a weekend spa break. It was very peaceful and a pleasant stay. We spent the majority of our time in the wonderful spa and relaxation room. The hotel catered to our every need. The restaurant was pleasant though slightly over priced in our opinion. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I was expecting a much better experience. There was alot of building work going on and it was just average in general. The room as basic for a superior and Ihave stayed in much better hotels, even better travel lodges! If I had paid full price I would of 100% complained as it in no way was worth full price. The spa area was very basic and again I have stayed in better hotels with a pool that arebt even advertised as a spa. The whole place had a weird smell and the steamroom smelt like a vegetable steamer! We went out to eat as the selection on the menu was quite poor which is anither negative as we wanted a relaxing stay but my husband ended up having to drive. We even had to pop out after first arriving to buy a cold drink. Definitely wouldnt return

It was my birthday. We arrived and room was ready. We had lunch in the Lodge, a wander around the grounds and a swim in the pool. Dinner in the View was superb. I complimented the chefs. Very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Cant fault it.

Staff very helpful, room and hotel (swimming changing area, and gym were spotless). Did not get an opportunity to use the restraurant, breakfast was nice, with a good choice of buffet or individual ordered items.

Lovely lady on Reception on Sunday evening but the Staff on Monday morning completely spoilt my stay with his complete disregard for me as a customer.

First day Toilet not working, housekeeping did NOT fix just added a cleaner on top of the unflushed toilet. The hotel room had a view of a brick wall with the noise of the air conditioning units attached. Booked this hotel for my son because it had a swimming pool, when we booked in, we were told our 13 year old son not allowed to use as it was in the small print ‘only over 16 years allowed’ we booked through ********** there was no information on the pool, just a picture which usually indicates it is available to use. The receptionist advised if we went along to the pool at the end of the day, that would be alright, we looked up the closing time on the hotel TV it said 9.30pm, went along at 8.45pm to be told it would be closed at 9pm by a very rude member of staff. Awful experience, thankfully we did not eat at the hotel, the receptionist advised against this.

I really enjoy staying at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is going through a major building process but despite this it is still a very nice hotel to stay at.

Lovely hotel. The spa was very nice and clean with a decent pool temperature. Steam room, sauna, hot tub and spa pool all at an excellent temperature. The room was a good size with a very nice hot shower and comfy bed. Little disappointed with breakfast selection. Ran out of fruit, croissants and yogurts half way through breakfast time. Hot buffet also kept running out of food. Needed more frequent checks on availability of items and replenishment. Second morning slightly improved.

As a frequent guest I would recommend this hotel to anyone, The hotel is ideal for me, High standards with convenient parking a rarity in the area. My only real negative is changes to booking process has reduced the number of times I stay, If booking through ********** you have to include breakfast (for 2) which increases the price not good if you book a double room for 1 person, start early and only have a small breakfast which must be common for many business trips . There is construction works going on at the minute which detracts from the appeal and pricing doesn’t reflect this, during this stay I had problems wit Wi-Fi it was slow for a big period of time but I haven’t experienced this
