多佛海灘酒店(Dover Beach Hotel)

This is a good hotel, probably one of the most reasonable in the area which is why we chose to stay here. It's quite basic in lots of areas - the tv and bed side lights didn't really work. You have to ask for towel changes and the rooms aren't cleaned that well. The staff don't offer to help like if you sit down at the bar they won't come over with menu's or ask what you'd like to drink, or, we arrived early to the hotel and asked if our room was ready but they said we'd have to pay if we wanted to be in earlier and didn't offer to take our bags until it was. But once you ask for drinks or a place to leave your cases they do help. If you aren't too fussy and want to stay in the gap, you'll be fine to stay here!

Nice pool, good food at restaurant Not the greatest location… however 10mins walking from fish market and some shops And then like 10 min local bus ride into worthing which is much nicer public beaches shops and plenty of restaurants local bus/taxi van runs every 5-10mins and costs like $2 cdn def worth it Or private can $15-$20 Huge rooms!

Central location in the Gap - we could walk the beaches, have a great meal at a number of nearby venues. Small grocery store closeby to get nesessities and a short walk to a large number of bars/restaurants. As with any older buildings, noiser guests in other rooms can detract from the experience...but that is not the fault of DBH or staff... you get these people anywhere. The tile around the pool is getting old and can be hard on bare feet in places. Pool is good, its just the patio stone that is in need of some replacements/repair.

With the exception of the reception staff (who were excellent) the other staff did not show any enthusiasm or engagement. The room was not thoroughly clean (thick dust on upper surfaces) was poorly equipped (no bottle opener, cooker but no pots and pans and kettle did not work). Surface around pool area was in a poor state of repair. Continental breakfast bread and croissants were stale.

Camere per niente insonorizzate, si sente qualunque rumore dai corridoi o dalle camere adiacenti. Per il prezzi che offrono, si possono incontrare molte opzioni migliori in St.Lawrance Gap.

The overall condition was not good. Staff looked like they didn't want to be there. No hot water on two occasions so unable to shower.Toilet didn't function very well.Pool area in poor condition. Bathroom needs attention. The bed was very comfy and the housekeeping was excellent.

Room was not provided till 5.30 pm when i reach around 4.15 pm. They said check in at 4 pm. Rooms should hv been ready

Everyone was friendly including the Security. Food was good. Beautiful beach view. Hospitality was beyond expectations. First Class treatment. Surely will come again.

Totally disappointed in the faulty plugs and outdated furniture people walking through the hotel to acces the beach also a bit much .
