Cadre exceptionnel que ce soit par une pluie irlandaise ou le soleil cet endroit est magique. L’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres et la literie hyper confortable, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel. La piscine et le spa avec vue sur la mer sont super pour se reposer . Génial

We chose the Culloden for our wedding anniversary lunch as it was a special occasion and when I booked it I mentioned it was for our anniversary. When we got there no one greeted us even though we had reserved a table for lunch at the loch bar. Eventually a member of staff working in another department acknowledged us and said he would get someone to come over to us. When we got served, nobody acknowledged that it was our wedding anniversary and we had to ask a different waiter if we could order food. The waiter that served our food was very helpful, but nobody had acknowledged it was our anniversary. Very poor. Will not be going back.

From the beginning we had issues. Room was not ready 2 hours after you are allowed to check in. Paid handsomely for a Garden View, our view was of a building belows roof. Asked for welcome basket as I was celebrating my sons graduation. They did not deliver it until the next day, and it sat in the room all day and melted. The cleaning crew decided to turn off AC so it was sweltering in the room after a day away. Not hard to see why the stuff melted. There was rubbish between the beds and dirt all in the shower. I had to wait for a dirty room. Walking down the hall there was a tray of room service stuff sitting in the hall. My first impression was wow, then it was still there 8 hours later just sitting in the hall. I booked a massage for 60 minutes, on the day I arrived. Only to have them try to cancel on me on the day of. I showed up and they said they can do half an hour and only did 25minutes. All in all this was an overpriced NOT celebration for my son Graduating with his masters. Go to Ballygally they are MUCH better and Nicer!

What a beautiful hotel. Such a treat to stay here. Rooms are gorgeous and the facilities are superb. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tube are so relaxing and tranquil. Spent a lovely afternoon relaxing and chilling out. Currently there is a new Art &Soul exhibition in the beautiful grounds. Very interesting.

I booked a staycation for myself and my 2 daughters, to have a special little treat at the Culloden and from the moment we arrived to leaving we had an exceptional stay. We were greeted by lovely friendly reception and concierge. Xyza, Nicole, Iona, Tori, Jon and James. We were made to feel so welcome. We were shown to our room which had an amazing view of the Lough and the room was beautiful and pristine. We had dinner in the lough bar and all the staff were again very lovely and accommodating, especially Darren. The food was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was hot, fresh and tasty. We were greeted by Leo who looked after us. We visited the spa and used the great facilities on offer for guests. Very tranquil and lovely staff Danielle and Shannon looked us. I can honestly say it was a truly wonderful stay and thank you to all at The Culloden for making it feel so special.

We returned to the Culloden on our 20th wedding anniversary and we very well looked after. We had a leisurely 2 hours pre-checkin in the spa before proceeding to our beautiful suite and welcoming macarons. Overall our stay was great.

Most North American tourists will notice Belfast to be a busy and fast moving city even though it is not a huge city by most world city standards. Staying at the Culloden was a quiet, calm and beautiful place to choose given it was out of the Belfast city Centre. We had our stay in the Dunlop Suite. It was a beautiful and large suite to be in with the views that look out to the Belfast Lough. We especially loved the Lough Bar with a wonderful cocktail and food menu after a long day of site seeing. Wonderful customer service from the concierge to the bar staff. One major plus about staying at Culloden Estate is that the N.I. Translink station (Cultra Station) trains was right next door to the hotel so having to go into the city center and back to see St. George's Market and Titanic Museum was made easier.

Had heard great things about the Culloden but sadly our experience did not live up to my expectation. Decided to end a business trip to Belfast with my husband with a treat night at the Culloden. Arrived just after 4pm and after a very friendly check in was directed to our room. Beautiful spacious room however bathroom was looking a little tired. Surprised for a 5* hotel there was no fridge for fresh milk, cold water etc only small individual cartons of milk. Visited the spa and was met with the noise of children and a limited number of loungers which were understandably all taken. Our nice relaxing spa experience pre dinner sadly did not happen! Dinner was the tasting menu in Vespers restaurant which was superb. Food and service were incredible. Staff very friendly. Breakfast in Vespers the following morning was busy (which is understandable as it was a weekend). Was surprised to see that for a 5* hotel it was a buffet style help yourself cooked breakfast. On check out I mentioned to reception staff that one of our pillowcases was badly stained with what looked like tea which wasn’t a problem for us as we simply didn’t use that particular pillow so we didn’t feel it warranted mentioning and changing the night before. The lady on reception was apologetic and said she would mention it to housekeeping. I just feel as we had spotted it within a few minutes of being in the room it shouldn’t have been missed by housekeeping when being changed. I had also booked a nail appointment in the on-site Spa for after we had checked out prior to leaving for the airport. When arriving for the appointment I was told by spa staff that they had been trying to get hold of me that morning (our phone in our room had rung twice before breakfast but when answered nobody was there) to advise that my appointment had unfortunately had to be put back as a member of staff had called in sick. Sadly the new time was not convenient as we had a flight to catch and there would not have been sufficient time. I can understand that not all staff are qualified to deliver certain beauty treatments but when you are told your appointment has been delayed due to staff shortage and then there are 3 members of staff at the reception desk chatting, it is a little ironic! Sadly having stayed at other 5* hotels, I am afraid to say I feel the Culloden is not one. I do not consider myself a difficult guest to please but having paid what we did for the the tasting menu and overnight stay and being hugely disappointed I felt compelled to review. If you are after a stay with a young family as there were a number present I am sure you will not be disappointed. However, we wanted a quiet relaxing stay as a couple. Sorry the Culloden but we will not be back .
