This hotel was affordable and had a nice outlook from the room however that’s where it ended unfortunately. The bed collapsed when we sat on it ( I weigh 55 kg) and we had to fix it, crockery was dirty and put away like that and the receptionist tried to charge me for a prepaid stay. But the worst thing was the bloodstained bedding. No excuse for quilts etc to have any marks on them.it was yucky.

i would like to than all the front desk receptionists who helped me alot, i felt safe and my family back home were happy that i was safe and comfortable in Ashburton.
will definitely visit again if i do get the chance.

The mattress was so old there was no padding you could feel every spring. The property just looked tired eg the plastic bath was crazed and the sealant grubby.

Room was good size, nice bed. Bathroom needed a makeover. Toilet took all night to fill and we had to keep jugging water into the toilet to flush.

Room was clean and tidy, and staff were lovely. The bathroom needed some work done on it. Sink tap needed tightening, shower controller fell off into the bath and water pressure for the shower nearly the worst I've had to use. Unfortunately for us we had the fire alarm go off at 4.45am so we had to hang around outside until it was turned off. On a good note breakfast was really good with lots of choice and reasonably priced.
