Location is ok and the room is clean and tidy. Our room's aircon is not working though. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Although they made a mistake in our 2nd booking with them (which resulted in them finding another nearby accommodation for us to stay instead), the experience with Charity Hotel is still quite pleasant :)

Hotel senza troppe pretese, un po' fuori dal centro ma pulito e con letto comodo. Bagno in camera pulito e funzionale, doccia funzionante e con acqua calda a tutte le ore. Cortesia alla reception. Colazione da migliorare

Llegamos de noche, la atención muy buena por parte del personal. El desayuno bien, y muy bien atendido. En cuanto a la habitación no digo lo mismo. Habitación anticuada, decoración horrible y el baño de horror, casi vuelca el lavabo con mueble y todo, paredes con humedad, agujero en una pared donde se veía el ventilador del respirador….. vamos, que no vuelvo!! El acceso por las calles hasta la entrada del hotel, horrorosa!!!!

The positives are that the location is peaceful, the garden is spectacular. The rooms are a reasonable size, and the staff are friendly and willing to help. The negatives are that its in a run down area, you must take transport to town. The rooms need updating, and corridors can be noisy. (Tiled floors) I came back here after my safari, so overall I liked it.

Our trio shared a room upon our arrival in Arusha one night before heading to Zanzibar then again for one night before climbing Kilimanjaro. They held our luggage for us for free while we were galavanting around East Africa. The included breakfast was great and the driver we used to go shopping was very friendly and helpful. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our silly questions and patient when we didn't understand how to get the lights, fan and water heater going. Loved it!

This hotel is very reasonably priced for the comforts on offer. The rooms are large. There is a full sized bath tub in the double room. Toothpaste, toothbrush and soap is offered. Hot water is available from 3am to 10 pm. There is a small restaurant. Don't be put off by the fact that it is down an unpaved path. The hotel is fine and the staff very professional.

Of all of the hotels I have stayed at across several countries over the past two months, this hotel was the best value. The service was as helpful and friendly as you could ask for. Service is a little slow in the restaurant, but good service and food quality.
