塔努阿土司塔拉酒店(Tanoa Tusitala Hotel)

The facility was clean and modern, but the shower didn't drain fully leaving a slippery puddle away from the drain hole. Housekeeping wasn't consistent. On separate occasions the mirror was left wet, the bins unemptied, the towel unchanged and the bed not made up properly. The programmable safe didn't open once locked, and the key card had to be reprogrammed to give access to the room. Once, while resting in my room in the early afternoon, someone tried to enter my room but the latch stopped them. I quickly checked outside, thinking it might have been housekeeping, but no one was there except someone - a burly obese island man in singlet, shorts and jandals - walking quickly around the corner. I believe it was another guest who'd somehow gained access to electronic access cards, and who was raiding other guest's rooms. It was after that incident that my key card failed to work, and I had to visit reception to get it reprogrammed. The staff were generally courteous and kind, but really only going through the motions to fulfil their role. No one stood out as loving the work they do. The egg station couldn't make poached egg. That had to come from the kitchen, and they had to boil the water first and it was an inordinately long wait. In a previous visit to Samoa, at a hotel in Savai'i, the egg station had a pan with simmering water for poached eggs, and they delivered poached eggs as quickly as any other style of egg. I visited other hotels for events around Apia on this visit. I'm now open to staying at other hotels after this visit.

Everything was great. Housekeeping needs alot of work on efficiency, time management and thorough cleaning.

Disappointing, restaurant food terrible, had to find other places to eat. Also our room was by the laundry room where staff chatted loudly early in morning. Room power points died which took out the fridge.

Huge difficulty arranging an early checkin when travelling with my 72yo mother. This was requested at the time of booking but I was told to turn up on the day and they would see what they could do. When we turned up at 730am the front desk were not able to call reservations for me. Instead they gave me a card and asked me to call them myself. I had to wait for the shops to open at 9am to buy a SIM card before calling reservations. Long story short we had to wait till normal check in at 2pm. Hotel room was spacious but a little dated. Great location to town and markets/shops.

After been to Tanoa at Fiji and i realised what a waste of money to Samoa Tanoa Tusitala. Tanoa in Fiji was amazing, staff greeting us with a beautiful smile, talking us through everything. Took our luggages and show us our room! Even though we stay there for only 16hours cause we have to stayover waiting for our next flight back to Australia. Our next Holiday will definitely to FIJI. AMAZING SERVICE FIJI, as for Tanoa Tusitala Hotel were never coming back to you guys, service bad, breakfast not really good, could've been better! I order scramble egg and waiting for it that me and husband and the kids left our table and no one even come and apologies for not making it. This will be our first and last for Tanoa Tusitala Hotel Very Disappointing!!!

It was ok… nothing to write about. The room was above good - clean. Kid friendly Improvements: breakfast, loud music most of the time and staff sitting on the floor behind a kitchen service section.

It was very clean and everything was excellent. There service and the workers were all kind and very satisfying

Lovely stay here… breakfast was nice, rooms and facilities clean and tidy also well equipped. Great location

The staff were very friendly, always willing to go the extra mile.
