The service was extremely slow and unfriendly at the hotel bar in the lobby. I called the hotel to let them know I accidentally left a dress there right after I checked out and they said they would call me back. I had to follow up twice and still did not get a clear answer if they have my dress or not. Very disappointing.

Absolutely horrible problems. This was our 2nd time staying, the first time a couple years back and I've never seen such continued gross incompetence. So giving it a 2nd shot we book 2 nights. In the middle of the night I cant sleep & go to use the bathroom, i sit and the water in the toilet bowl is literally steaming! I flushed a couple times to no luck, waited & tried again, my butt was literally sweating sitting on it & the steam rising from the bowl smelled BAD, i mean its steam from a toilet. I promptly call down & they said theyll have someone look at it first thing in the am. Ok, so then I go to take a shower to help me sleep and water is SCOLDING hot, will not get cold, we even let it run. Again, this is the middle of the night so I'm wiped & finally just give up. So I go to wash my hands in the sink and THAT water is also only scolding hot. I've had it & just go back to bed but not before needing to get BOTTLED WATER downstair in order to brush my teeth, yes for real. Next morning, maintenance comes up & water is suddenly warm after it runs for a bit & the toilet flushes, interesting. He says it happens at times of high use or if the valve isnt properly turned. But ok, problem fixed right? Nope. Next night same thing, i call down & finally they switch our room. Worst part of all is they not only mistakenly charge us THREE nights rather than the 2 booked but they refuse to refund the fees for the original nights booked after everything. Manager Rodney is terrible.

The Westin is usually my first choice but this stay in Annapolis was absolutely terrible. A massive roach on the bathroom counter, towels that were shredded around edges and stained, and paying $38 a day to valet our car that we had to park ourselves because the valet could not drive a manual. At one point, we handed our keys over and heard the driver high revving completely unable to get the car in gear as we were half way through the lobby. We ran back out to help him park it. The next day we immediately realized this caused a belt slip and a variety of other issues to follow.

The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again

I spent 4 days and over $1600 on my stay. I was forced to pay $11/day for internet. Not only did they charge extra, the hotel actually blocked cell data so there was no ability to get internet through the phone so you were forced to pay them for basic access to service you already paid for through your provider. I had to go to Starbucks and buy a $3 coffee to get free wifi. I dont enjoy being fleeced when I pay for premium hotel stay. Never staying at a Westin again.

$15 to connect to the internet, paper thin walls, beds were uncomfortable, sheets sounded like they were made of tarp.

The hotel itself was great. However, I will not return because of service. This is a hotel that because you book through a 3rd party vendor (i.e. **********) nickel and dime you for everything. For example, I rented two rooms at $400 a night each. As a member of their loyalty program (Marriott Bonvoy) you are supposed to get free Internet service. However, because I booked through **********, they did not honor it. Next day, I tried to extend the check out from 11 am to 12 noon. They would do one room, but not the second one, which rendered the purpose of extending checkout useless. In general, just felt that because I booked through **********, they were uninterested to please us. Clearly, they benefit from third-party vendors to get them business - otherwise, they would not use the services. But, if you are then going to begrudge the fact that we book through the third party vendor, you are doing yourself more harm than good. You lost me as a customer, which is a pithy because the hotel itself was good and clearly we were willing to spend the money for $400 a night rooms.

We first arrived and were rushed out of our car by valet so quickly that I left my wallet in the car and had to go locate it in the parking garage they use. We also didn’t get a city view room that we paid for, were charged for internet although we are Bonboy members, and somehow got charged for two cars to be valeted even though I’m certain I only drove one.

High-priced but average room. Made it known at noon that I needed as early check-in as possible so I could make a clothing change before attending a 4pm meeting that was 5 minutes away. Had to make a very uncomfortable clothing change in the hotel bathroom at 3:45pm. Not happy!
