Mostly an unpleasant experience. First, maximum rate for a room and was expecting a nice room with good views for that price. However, the experience was much below my expectations. The room I had had a single window with the porch roof adjacent to the window, hiding the lower half of the window, not only obstructing the view (basically no views) but also creating a darker room environment as there was not enough light from the only window in the room. I reported the issue to the staff within 10 minutes of check-in. I talked to Justina, the PM shift supervisor. She said she couldn't move me to another room but said, "What else can be done"? I requested a discount as the room was much below the expectations compared to the price paid. She said the morning shift manager can only deal with it. No one called the next morning, so at 9:15 AM, I talked to Angelica. She played ignorant about the issue and said there were no PM staff notes and the supervisor was busy with whole-day meetings. I requested her to add notes about the issue. At checkout, I could talk to Doma, a manager. She walked with me to the room and saw the situation. I requested her to look into discounts due to such an unpleasant experience. By the way, the hotel surroundings were unsafe, too; I saw multiple homeless people walking in the parking lot. Walking back and forth from the car in the parking lot to the hotel is scary. I sincerely hope for a decent refund to compensate for such a bad experience.

Staff were poorly trained and rude.Check in took three tries - once online, twice in person. Elevator was broken. To get the King room we had requested they had to put us in an "accessible room," which would have been ok expect that an accessible room should be for someone that needs it and the shower was tough to use. Add to that: no hot water, no explanation or apology. When I reported it the staff person said "that was fixed last night." I pointed out that we tried to shower that morning and there is no hot water - no response. No track off mat at entrance made for a VERY slippery journey as it was raining when we arrived. Seems incredibly unsafe. Police were parked outside for for a long time, not sure what that was about. Added to a general sense of unease.

Upon arrival their system was down, so they could not check us into a room, and just made us sit there for an hour. The front desk employees were not very friendly or helpful. There was hair in the bathtub. Breakfast was OK. The custodian was the most friendly person there. He should get a raise. The room was very spacious for 5 people.

Staff was great! The gentleman that was running breakfast was outstanding! The room is nice. TV was not where i would place it, but that is totally a personal preference. Breakfast was good. Scrabbled eggs, sausage, wafflss, oatmeal, cereals , etc.

Bed was too firm. Tub is too small. Towel bars barely hanging on the wall. Only 1 coffee for two people. Handicapped room requested. Put in 3 rd floor no handicapped room.pool stinks from urine

We stayed 2 nights it was good but the heater doesn’t stay on litte bit chilly inside . Fridge it’s good for 2 hrs only and you have press the 2 hr button again. No cart available when you need to carry all luggages. I did not bring my lotion but therd id no lotion provided anymore. I will bring my own next time. Breakfast is good! Staffs are nice. The hotel service driver ( Steve) very nice helpful and polite. I like staying in this place because it’s clean and feel secure

Great hotel in the ANC. We stayed one night because of a late night flight. The check in process was vey quick, shuttle service was prompt. Only complaints are: The floors where dirty. There was food crumbs on the floor, which was concerning, because we didn’t have any food in the room. Summer in Alaska means sun almost all day. The blackout curtains where not that great and the sunlight kept us up.

Comfortable stay. Breakfast was warm, but mediocre as there were only 2 warm options.

The Staffs were lovely and very helpful. Love the heated pool and hot tub! The location was across from theater and the breakfast was delicious. The chef lady was very nice, and we love her oatmeal!
