Very disappointed. Lobby is under construction, and the valets can’t seem to manage. Eventually get to front desk and “check in system is down.” Ask if it will 5 minute, 10 minutes or an hour before I can get a room. Keep in mind it is after 4P on a Monday, and I’d already checked in online. Front desk snaps, “we will call you when your room is ready.” No offers for a drink at the bar, or any other suggestions and the valet has already taken my car (you cannot self park). Of course I’m sure I got the worst room in my “King with a balcony” room class, 40 minutes later when i got to my room. Coffee stains on couch and bath robes. Room is worn and not well cleaned. No restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and high end on property restaurant , Salt, is closed on Mondays. Eat and next best restaurant, Coast, which was over priced. Next night Salt is again closed, now for a private event, and they are playing bingo in the only other restaurant on property. Most of the staff, outside of front desk, were nice and seemed to be trying, but not much they could do. Will not stay at the property ever again.
