My stay was brief, clean, and comfortable, however, the check in was not smooth, the refundable deposit charges are confusing, and my overall experience was diminished because of that. And the room cost was different than what I had booked the room for on **********, Confirmation # 9145296980689.
I’m not sure why, but the room was labeled that I needed “handicap.”I have no need for a handicap room. I did receive a voice mail and upon check in, the same message was reinforced: I was told my room was not available because the door was out of order and I should make other arrangements. After I expressed no need for a handicap room, they couldn’t find a single bed room for one person for the original cost of $137.61which included taxes. Several charge attempts were submitted to the account on file: $237.38, $232.41, $222.51, $147.51 ($147.51 was the actual cost of the room). After above attempts didnt work, I was informed of a refundable deposit required of $75 in addition to the nights stay. I then placed the deposit on another card. My bank records reflect two charges from the hotel: $75 and $72.51. Not sure why this is, I need clarity.
Keeyana at check in, and again at checkout, said I would receive a receipt for my stay to the email on file, I am still waiting. I checked out of room 302 ~7:30am this morning.
Overall, this created more stress, as money is tight, and I am still concerned about the ‘refundable’ charges ($72.51 and $75) that are reflect to my account.
