艾肯麗怡酒店(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Aiken, SC)

Went to check-in no one at front desk. After waiting way too long, decided to call hotel and as it was ringing the female clerk came from outside. Hotel room was fine bed comfy. Breakfast the next morning was awful! Went to use microwave and it was brown and dirty nasty on the inside. Set up for breakfast was not user friendly. Nothing was labeled. So people had to search around for stuff. Upon leaving, we passed by the laundry room and the staff in there were shooting out profanity and it was very sickening to hear employees of the hotel acting like they were in a street gang. No respect at all for hotel guests.

Details on the place need to be updated on the app. Booked this room specifically for my daughters birthday so she could swim with her friends. Pool was closed, one employee said it was open.. the other said that it wouldn’t be open until 6/1. Could have stayed elsewhere had I known.

Hotel lobby and hallways could be kept in better conditions. Towels under the ice maker and scuffs all over the walls and trim. Not 8/10 star hotel in my opinion. Carpet in room needed vacuuming and found several hairs in the bedding. Great water pressure in shower and comfy beds but overall would not stay here again.

This was a great place to stay in 2018, but this property is aging badly, despite being one of the newer Whiskey Road properties. Cracks in the walls are common, everything has been repainted multiple times, and the fake leather chairs have huge bald patches on them. The cleaning staff are getting sloppy. Our bathroom had dried pee on the toilet seat, hair of at least three different people stuck to the ceiling of the shower, and an old washcloth that had been neglected long enough to stink and grow mold hanging from the shower curtain. The air handler didn’t heat, and had been run all night to pump freezing air from outside into the room. By the time we got into the room around midnight, it was freezing cold. The staff is friendly, but the place is in unacceptable condition. Locals know that this is a preferred hotel for the local high school and college students to party and hook up, and it has definitely taken its toll.

My employee stayed for ten nights in four different rooms. After her final check-out, she was covered in bites. Her final two nights were in room 335, and after some “review investigation” I discovered that four weeks earlier, someone had reported bed bugs in their room…338. I contacted ******* customer service, and they tried to phone the hotel to request a refund for the two nights my employee spent in that room. No one answered the phone after several attempts. If you check in, check your bedding!

Mostly clean hotel, comfortable beds, and convenient location. The shower curtain needs to be removed and cleaned-smells like a rank towel. The little coffeeemaker leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast was the typical eat and go. Would stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Rooms looked like they had just updated things. Overall good experience. We will return if in the area.

The property was good for the price. Can definitely tell it’s an older building and despite being a non smoking floor the 3rd floor hallway still smelt smoky. The room however did not smell smoky so that was okay with us. Overall 8/10 stay. The staff was great. The hotel itself was okay.
