Chengdu Airlines, formerly known as United Eagle Airlines, is a Sichuan-based airline that operates out of Chengdu. It is privately owned and was established in 2004, beginning flights in 2005. Today, the airline has a fleet of 11 planes and flies to 15 cities in Mainland China.
Founded in 1989, Hainan Airlines is the largest privately-owned airline in China. Overall, it is the fourth largest in China in terms of fleet size. It flies both domestic and international routes, with 133 planes flying to 90 destinations around the world.
Hong Kong Airlines was founded in 2001 under the name CR Airways before changing its name to Hong Kong Airways in 2006. The airline has a fleet of 26 planes and services 24 destinations. Their logo is centered around the bauhinia flower, a native species to Hong Kong.
Xiamen Airlines was the first private airline operating in China. The airline's main hubs are Xiamen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou. Xiamen Airlines operates 210 routes to over 50 major cities including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Southeast and Northeast Asia.
West Airlines, or simply West Air, is better known worldwide as China West Air. From their hub in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, China West Air offers domestic China flights. A part of the Fortune Wings Club, China West Air offers passengers benefits to other member airlines including Hainan Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines.
Okay Airways, headquartered in Shunyi District, Beijing with a hub in Tianjin Binhai International Airport, operates passenger charger services from Tianjin to Changsha, Chengdu, Haikou, Hangzhou, Harbin, Hefei, Kunming, Nanjing and Zhangjiajie. The airline has a fleet of 10 aircraft.
