Emirates was established in 1985 and is based in Dubai and is the largest airline in the Middle East. It serves six continents, 72 countries and over 120 cities around the world with over 2,500 weekly flights. The airline is wholly owned by Dubai's government and operates a fleet of 177, most of which are the Boeing 777. Emirates main international destinations are in India, the UK and the United States. It also operates international flights to China, including flights to Guangzhou and flights to Beijing. The airline is also known for their sponsorship of London's Arsenal Football Club, whose shirts read, "Fly Emirates."
